Baby Washing Line

I can honestly say, I've never enjoyed doing the washing as much as I have today.

I know I'll be over it very quickly, especially considering we're going to be using cloth nappies, but today, I thought I would melt over each tiny little outfit.

To think, very soon, there is going to be a little person wearing these. Not TOO soon though, I got a bit grumpy when I was out and about yesterday and a number of people felt they had to tell me that I would have the baby any day now. I told them "No! I have another 6 and a half weeks, and I've spoken to her and asked her not to come too early."

The mean washing machine did eat one of the super cute socks, so there is already a sock feeling very lonely.

In a week or so I get to do it all again when the Japanese baby clothes arrive.

and I thought those were the Japanese baby clothes!! sorry to hear about the one sock :( maybe you can use the one left to hold baby's bottle in or make it into a little bag...

So cute all hanging in a row! I think you might need to whip up a little sockbag that goes in the wash to stop the pesky washing machine from eating them.

I've taken photos like that - boy clothes though. :-)

And you know, I always enjoyed doing this kind of laundry, especially the nappy part. Something about hanging out all those gorgeous little things. Sigh....

Love the photo's of all the colourful clothes, it truly is a lovely time to be hanging them out in anticipation of your new arrival. I also understand the notion of people telling you your baby is coming early. I had that alot with my second pregnancy because I was due second week of January everyone wanted her born either on Xmas or New Years, god knows why and I kept thinking, "Why do they want this baby to come early?" Instead she came two days late...perfect...So enjoy your time and ignore the commenters!! Lil x

Oh wow, you really are going to have the most gorgeously stylish little baby!!! I must admit, I did the cloth nappy thing (in fact, learning how to make fitted cloth nappies was the reason I bought my first ever sewing machine!!), and I always enjoyed the washing. Weird huh!!
