Baby Washing Line

I can honestly say, I've never enjoyed doing the washing as much as I have today.


I know I'll be over it very quickly, especially considering we're going to be using cloth nappies, but today, I thought I would melt over each tiny little outfit.



To think, very soon, there is going to be a little person wearing these. Not TOO soon though, I got a bit grumpy when I was out and about yesterday and a number of people felt they had to tell me that I would have the baby any day now. I told them "No! I have another 6 and a half weeks, and I've spoken to her and asked her not to come too early."

The mean washing machine did eat one of the super cute socks, so there is already a sock feeling very lonely.

In a week or so I get to do it all again when the Japanese baby clothes arrive.

Baby Clothes

The movers have been and gone. The apartment is now looking rather bare and a lot bigger. Early in the packing week I managed to get my camera out to shoot some of my baby clothes collection. We're still waiting to find out if the kicking bump is a boy or girl, so the collection is a little mixed. There is a distinct lack of pink in these photos, but that's only because I was given a lot of pink hand-me-downs that were packed earlier.
