Captured History

Antique and vintage kimono fabric captured under hand-fired glass.

I'm really happy with how they are turning out. I still have to finish some of the backs, attach the bails and wait for the necklaces to arrive and then they and many more will be in my Etsy store.

Wow!! They're gorgeous Melanie! You have every reason to be happy with how they are turning out :)
Are you firing the glass yourself? That's a big job x.

Stunning! I'm sitting here in my hand embroidered and apliqued shirt with a japanese print thinking how nicely these would go with my shirt!

Melanie - they are so simple but yet fantastic - Resin is a lovely thing!

Excuse me for saying resin - I meant glass - I have been down making my lampwork beads tonight - may be not enough ventilation from the gas!
