I'm leaving my husband tomorrow. Then next week, he will be leaving me.
Don't worry, in a few weeks, we'll be back together.
Tomorrow I'm off to Tokyo continuing my search for good, compasionate health care. Hopefully, that should only take a few hours. I then have a good couple of days on my own to do a fabric and craft shop tour of Tokyo. Much easier without the hubby no matter how wonderful he is.
Next week, hubby will be going to Australia, on his own for two weeks. It will be his first time back since we moved here two and a half years ago. He'll be doing a couple of courses and getting everything ready to have his personal training/massage therapy/acupuncture business up and running again for when we move back to Australia next year. The rest of the time he'll be catching up with family, friends and non-Japanese food.
We both strongly believe that short amounts of time on our own is the best thing for both of us, but boy I'll miss him.

Time to youself IS special, though of course you will miss each other. Enjoy the space and good luck with your trip to Tokyo. Hopefully there will be good things waiting for you there.
Whew! Scared me there for a second. LOL!!
Enjoy your time in Tokyo. It's great to have alone time to do your thing. I'm sure beautiful things await your discovery!
Hope your trip to Tokyo is productive - in terms of your health and on the shopping/fabric front!

Having time of our own is very important. It gives us some personal space. It makes our relationship stronger. ^_^

Have a great trip to Tokyo, fingers crossed on the health front and have fun with the fabric shopping!!
I so agree with you about time on your own. As sad as I'll be when I partner leaves our little family to Europe for 3 weeks. I'm kinda excited too! It's so wonderful in your relationship you can see the value of giving each time to spread your wings..we all need to drop out/regroup and change the routine...
