My Creative Space

The last couple of days have been about painting faces and dressing dolls.

Today I'll be putting their brooch backs on, ready for their first day out at the Eco Market on Saturday.

After I've been playing with them, I think I prefer the simplicity of the sleeveless ones, they are far more like actual kokeshi after all. I had a little bamboo left so have made a few little mother and daughter ones as well.

To have a peek into other creative spaces, head to Kootoyoo.

These are really lovely. I saw your goods at Maiocchi in Brisbane today, but I think I might swing by the markets on the weekend...

Aaaaaargh, I'm so mad that you live so far away! These are absolutely gorgeous! I've coveting one of those mother daughter pins. Please, pretty please come and do a show in California?!?!? :)

They're such treasures. I love the mother and daughter one in the bottom row. I wish you weren't so far away too. The markets over there sound so much better than the rare one or two we have over here.
