Tokyomade Eye Candy

Firstly, thank you to everyone's get well wishes last weekend! A few days in bed and lots of homemade chicken soup (thanks DH) later and I'm back on my feet.

Yah! It's Friday! I swear, for some reason, this week has felt like the longest in history. But finally it's nearly the weekend. I'm not sure what I'll do over the weekend, there's much packing and sorting to be done for the move and many more delights of Japan to soak up before we leave.

DH has proposed we go out to dinner tonight, one of the restaurants in a large shopping centre a few towns over. I've been so good with savings lately, I feel it's time for a bit of a splurge. A few more craft books to add to my collection maybe, some more traditional pottery pieces, maybe a Shinzi Katoh piece or two.

But for now, I still have a few hours at work, so here's some pieces I love from the online store Tokyomade.

Mmm.... my ipod could do with a bit of a facelift...
I love these ichigo (strawberry) man prints! There's something very modern Japanese comedy about them.
How sweet is this frog necklace! An original illustration in resin.

I've drooled over boot by this designer on this blog before, but didn't think you'd mind if I revisited them.

If I wore this dress, I could run around singing "I feel pretty" from West Side Story. I may have to wait until I'm baby-bump-less however....
This "nani bird" dressed in her finest kimono, complete with geta sandals and her baby birds are so cute. They come as flat cards with instructions of how to fold.

And lastly, I still regret not getting anything by this designer I met at the Tokyo Design Festa last year. I have pictures of more of her super sweet work here.

All wish list stuff, but a girl can dream can't she, AND it IS by birthday soon... does anyone want to point my husband in the direction of this post?
