Finders Keepers

In just over a week I'll be heading on down to old Melbourne town for Finders Keepers and I'm pretty excited about it.

I've also managed to book myself a little free Melbourne time, time for a wander and to explore.  If you had some free hours in Melbourne, where would you go?

Best of luck for your time in Melbourne, lucky thing. Now, you will be cold down there, so I think you will have to stop off at Brunetti at Carlton (http://www.brunetti.com.au/BrunettiCarlton.aspx) for a cup of something warm and a slice of something sweet and sickly. Mmmm....

Oh I'm so jealous! Melbourne is my old stomping ground & I miss it so. I'd recommend a shopping zig zag up Brunswick street, starting @ Zetta Florence & ending up at the Moroccan Soup Bar for dinner. Enjoy!

Butterfly house at the zoo! It's like a greenhouse for butterflies, filled with native species that you can see up close.

Hi Melanie,
There is an exhibition of Illuminated Manuscripts from Persia at the State Library in Swanston St. I'm sure you would love it and it's FREE.
