My Birthday / Launch Party Giveaway

It's my birthday today!  Yay! for birthdays for they bring messages from dear friends, cake, favourite dinners and yes, often, presents.

This year's didn't go quite to plan as the little one is sick with a (mild) fever, but it was lovely nonetheless.  The little one loves giving and thought present wrapping was such a great game.  All day long I was gifted little things she'd find around the house; pencils, paintbrushes, toothbrushes and pegs to name a few, all wrapped in second hand paper with blue masking tape.  She was so excited with each gift and would loudly exclaim "Happy Birthday Mum!"

Inspired by her, I thought I'd give a present away myself, though I may tape it up with something nicer than blue masking tape.   I've been slowly working on uploading some of the Stainless Steel Tokyo Collection pieces to my website.  So I'd like to give one away to one of my dear blog readers.

For a chance to win, drop by here then come back and comment on the blog as to which one is your favourite (if you click on the picture it will give you the name).  If you'd like extra brownie points (and an extra chance to win), pass on the love and share the giveaway on your blog / on pinterest / on facebook.  If you'd like to let me know about the share in a second comment, that helps this little duck with working out the number of entries to count.

I'll let you know who I'm sending a piece to next Friday night, the 9th March, my time after about 8pm-ish.  Anyone around the world can enter.

I'm now off to enjoy the last hour and a bit of my birthday with a wine, some chocolate and bubble bath.  Happy Birthday to me!

Oh Mel, they are all so lovely. You have done a beautiful job on them. I think my favourite is the tea blossom. (It is so difficult to choose though).
Sounds like your birthday was delightful :) such a cute little one to be delighting in giving you gifts like that. Hope you enjoyed all your treats too :)
Off to share your post now (do I need to write another comment to say that it is shared?)

sounds like a very special day to me (you just gave me the loveliest gift of a much-needed smile with the bit about the all day present-giving. beautiful).

this is definitely not an easy choice but i'm going with the tea blossom - have loved seeing your progress with the jewelry and it's exciting to finally see them in the shop!

may you be blessed in every way during this next year of your life...wishing you health and happiness always.

Happy birthday, Melanie! :-D

I love the entire collection, but my favorite piece has to be the Apricot Blossom necklace. It's just so Japanese, yet also modern.

Happy birthday! It's a bit different when you have kids, don't you think - less naval gazing and more fun with a little person to share it with :-)

Your new necklaces are stunning. I'd say tea blossom is my favourite.

They're gorgeous! I love the chrysanthemum necklace, but as I'm more of an earring girl I'd have to choose the apricot blossom earrings as my favourite.

Sounds like your birthday with your little one was full of lovely little surprises even though she wasn't well.
For me the Tokyo collection is so cool as it blends traditional design with modern materials to create truly unique pieces. It's a tough decision between the apricot and the tea blossom but the Apricot pendant wins out
The birthday give away is such a generous gesture.
Will share on FB :)

It is very hard to choose - they are all so beautiful!! If I had to pick one favourite - I'll go with the Dahlia petite earrings.

Hi Melanie,
Glad you had a great day, I love them all, but I think my favourite one is...the Chrysanthemum, no the Dahlia, no the Tea Blossom...no it has to be the Chrysanthemum .... definitely the Chrysanthemum in Stainless Steel, like I'd like to be, strong, yet soft and just a little wild!!

susie said...

Oh!!! I also shared on facebook!! ;-)

kyahaku said...

Happy Birthday. Hope you have yet another wonderful year and always thrive on making art :)

All of the products are lovely. They are so pure and delicate, it's hard to choose just one favorite.

But if I have to I would say the "Chrysanthemum" piece is my most favorite.

Belated happy birthday Mel!
My heart beat a little faster when I realised I had the opportunity to win one of these, which I have been secretly admiring from a distance.
Apricot Blossom tips me over the edge.

What a lovely way to spend your birthday. For me as well, these occasions take on a new meaning when the little ones become involved.

And your collection is stunning and unique and beautiful. Thank you for hosting this giveaway. If I was fortunate enough to be picked, then I would have to go for the Apricot Butterfly. In the meanwhile, this is going on my wish list for my dear husbands perusal.

Thanks again and Happy Birthday!

These are simply stunning! I would love any of them (and a lucky dip would save me the agony of choosing!) Perhaps the tea blossom would be suitable - I certainly drink enough of it! Happy birthday, and hope your little munchkin is feeling better <3 Michelle

My main aim of this comment is to wish you a happy birthday and I would have done so without the offer of a birthday present in return! Having said that - I couldn't choose between the first and third one if I was luckky enough to win.
I love the image of your little one running about looking for gifts to give, they are such joy aren't they? My little one turns 19 tomorrow!
