Recently I've been really inspired by the beautiful photographic work by 74 Lime Lane. I love the simplicity of her images, the calmness, the soft light. So today's Flickr Faves include a couple of her works (number 1 and number 8) and some other lovely companions.

a lovely mosaic ~ vintage thread really makes the most charming subject to shoot
I have quite a collection of vintage cotton reels (mine is the one in the centre of this mosaic) and I'm going to photograph them again - the first set of shots were done as I was unearthing them during a sort-out.
These remind me my childhood, my toys... Before 50 years:))
