Baby's First Christmas

Christmas for us this year was a quiet and humble yet happy one. While it certainly wasn't the Christmas filled with travel we'd planned, we still had a lot to be happy for. It was the little one's first Christmas and she really is the light of our lives and DH was home from the hospital before going back in tonight for chemo cycle number two (1 down, 5 more to go!).

We were also so thankful for all the love, friendship, generosity and support that we have been shown this past year.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and has a fabulous New Year coming to boot!

Now please excuse me if things are a little quiet around here for a while... I'm learning how to drive this new iMac of mine (not a present from Santa, but rather an oh-my-my-poor-beloved-laptop-is-about-to-end-its-days-so-I-need-a-new-computer-so-I-think-it's-time-I-switched-to-Mac purchase).

Merry Christmas to Melanie and Malanie's Mister and the little one! I'm glad you had a lovely day, even if it wasn't as you would have planned it!

Good luck with the Mister's 2nd round of chemo. And good luck to you with sorting out your iMac!

I'm glad the Christmas was a happy one... you could've been wallowing given the chemo, but it sounds like you celebrated the good things, especially the beautiful life of your daughter. I hope 2010 is a year of blessing for your family.

That first Christmas as parents is really something special, isn't it? I do hope that 2010 will be a lot better for you and your husband. I admire your positive attitude.

Good luck with figuring out how to use the mac. I may be a bit quiet myself but only because my children have somehow managed to use 80% of our months worth of downloads in 7 days!!!! If we go over we will be charged outrageously for them!
Hope your new year is a good one!
