Still Here

Just a quick note to say that yes, I'm still here and still pregnant. Very largely and obviously pregnant now, but very happily pregnant. Maybe too happily so, the bub seems very cosy and isn't showing any signs of wanting to come anytime soon.

As it has been during most of my pregnancy, it's like I'm on happy drugs. Life now goes at a snail's pace filled with lots of naps and cooking. My mum has come out from New Zealand to stay and help and has been a real angel. I've been spending lots of lovely social hours with her and with friends. I've unpacked the last of the boxes and nearly have the studio in working order. Not much else has been done on my to-do list and I'm very behind on my blog reading.

I had a wonderful morning visiting the BrisStyle market today and all the fabulous BrisStylettes. It was great to see a large turn-out for the day. Tomorrow morning I'll go and work for a few hours at the stall I share with my cousin at the Young Designers Market.

Not knowing when there's going to be any "action" around here, in the next couple of weeks I have movie plans, dinner plans, more markets to visit and more plans to catch up with friends. We'll just wait and see how much of that actually happens....

You're doing exactly what you should be doing - savoring all these moments. I'm a firm believer that a happy mama makes a happy baby. Just relax and enjoy!

When I was pregnant, the happy hormones were out of control ... I remember laughing so hard once, I couldn't stand up ... I ended up rolling side to side on the kitchen floor, like a beached whale, laughing hysterically, my husband looking on with horror ... the horny hormones were also out of control ... but with images like that in his brain, my husband may not have found me to be nearly as sexy as I felt! Ah, the things we write in blog comments ... wouldn't even say to a stranger on a train! LOL.

Sorry I didn't mean to pry as such, it was just that you had been posting pretty much daily and then there was a break for a few days! We will just have to be patient and wait.... Enjoy your time with your mum and friends. Glad to hear you've got the happy hormone thing!
