Dilemma

I'm not earning money at the moment. I should be saving. I shouldn't be spending. Do I hit "add to cart" or not?

It's tricky, I'm in the same situation (well, the not earning bit!). Lena Corwin's book has been sitting in my shopping basket for months and months now.

I have Amanda Soule's book, it's interesting, I wanted to see what ideas I could use in the classroom. I don't really need the actual book anymore - if you email me your address I'll put it in the post to you.

Hit it! Yes, I'm an enabler.

There's buying stuff, then there's buying resources. These are definitely in the latter category. But then I am a compulsive "add to basket" hitter, myself.
And if you've not come across this site before, www.booko.com.au will do comparison prices of any book title, should you be looking to minimise your outlay.

Ooh - that's a tough call! I especially love the look of 'Printing by Hand'...lovely selection! But that doesn't help very much, does it? Sorry! x.

Hi there.

Looks like you've totally settled back into Aussie life.

Wonder if the books are available at your local library?

If not, can you sell the books to yourself? Like will you get their value back in the form of pleasure, future sales of items made from ideas generated, a great gift to herself from a mother-to-be?

All the best for the birth and beyond:)

Ohhhh I feel your temptation! Go work on your journal. It will help cure the need to buy!

I am not working either but I can't seem to help myself from adding to cart (and checking out!).

Like someone suggested, check out your local library first. If they have it (and my library is pretty good), I like to borrow it to see if I will use the book often, and if I do, there's no stopping me!

See if they have them cheaper on Amazon marketplace - buying a used copy may lessen the guilt.

add, add! Your spending will make me feel better about my own recent spending of non-existent money :)

Sorry to be a party pooper, but because I am saving saving saving for Japan in September I want someone else to join in the 'window shopping only' with me!! Delayed gratification is always a great thing!!

I have a copy of Printing by Hand I can lend you if you like, I've never used it.

I've heard the creative family is really good.

Anyway, the real reason I popped in here was to see if the little one is on its way yet???

Well that second one is more a self help book, really. and the first and third one will most definitely help you make money in the long run. And the last one, well, since you're about to have an addition to your family it's a must have. It just makes good sense.

Not sure if you have already stepped over the purchase line. I have 'organising your craft space' and I'd be happy to loan it to you if you like. I liked it but didn't get a huge amount from it. I find that often with these kinds of books you get a few ideas that are useful. Anyway, let me know if you'd like a loan. I'd be happy for you to have it for a decent length of time as I know you may be a little busy in the next few months!

Hope you are traveling well.

If you're going to buy them anyway, better to buy now and get more use out of them..? :)
