My Creative Space - Taking Shape

It's still a mess as I continue to unpack and it ain't pretty right now, but the room is starting to take shape and feel like a real workroom rather than a storage space....

The shelves inside the cupboard are getting organised and I've put large plastic containers in the hanging space to organise fabric.

DH put my wooden desk together this week. This will be for my laptop and sewing machine. I still need to get a little side table for the printer and scanner.

Once all this mess is sorted, this will be my cutting/work bench.

DH also put my shelving together for various craft materials and I have one more box of Japanese books to put on the bookshelf once I can actually get to it...

Today I'm busy sorting fabrics into piles of how they'll be used. I can't tell you how fun it is to go through all my stash again.

That then leaves me with only seven more boxes to unpack (including the box of books). You know what, I think it's going to all come together before the baby comes! Then I can get onto making her nappies....

Ohh, I'm thinking of making nappies for Rachel too. (But not Joshua because he grows at too fast a rate and outgrows everything too fast!)

You're doing a great job unpacking! Remember not to overexert yourself!
