While these are beyond my beginner level, these cute hats are great inspiration, something to work towards.
1. Red and aqua baby crocheted beanie, 2. cottonorange elf hat , 3. Baby hat - button detail, 4. Crocheted Pink and white baby girl hat, 5. Crochet baby elfin hat, 6. Crocheted Pink and brown baby girl hat
... then, if I really got the hang of the hook and yarn, how cute would these booties look?

Ceck out the winterwarm link on my blog- it will take you to simple free patterns similar to the one on the bottom right hand side. When I get a minute I'll find the link to some simple flower patterns that I think I have on my other computer. What a lucky baby to have a stylish, crafty mummy!
Oh the hats are very cool. And the booties? Gorgeous. I can crochet, but I haven't done any for ages, must find a hook again and give it another go... you have inspired me now too!
Lots of crocheted inspiration on this post! Good luck with your crochet lesson - hopefully you will be whipping up some of these in next to no time.
Oh very cute indeed, to answer your question. Crochet is one of the things I really want to learn. Knitting is the other :)
All look great and that is my goal for this winter. Miss CT needs a warm and chick winter hat. Off to check the links on little red hen now....
sounds like a good challenge! good luck :)
this site has lots of free patterns to browse through.

me again sorry! but I just stumbled across this one which i thought might interest you crocheted flowers and some japanese crafting mag pics, thought of you straight away!
Adorable! I look forward to seeing pics of your finished creations. Don't sell yourself short though, the projects may look tough but the best way to learn is to jump in with a project you want to make - you can always rip it out and try it again!
Those booties are, by far, the cutest things ever to be crocheted by anybody!!! The hats are super cute too. I love #2, I can just picture it on a baby girl.
wow how cute!!!!! :D cool blog, by the way.. :D
I am in love with the pink booties! It is so cold here at the moment I could wear the hats and booties myself (if only I could fit into them!)
They are all so lovely-good luck with yours:)
