Our little one is no stranger to the camera. She patiently sits and waits for her photo session to begin...

Then the poses begin... she works the eyes...

... goes for a bit of the coy look...

... gives us a smile...

... until she's had enough. "No more pictures please".

... turns the other way and crawls off.

Mixtape's Latest Fan

Today I found myself torn. The little one wanted to play, but my latest copy of mixtape had arrived, and I really wanted to read it. The solution? I popped her onto a blanket and read it out aloud to her. Her eyes lit up at the gorgeous fabric eye candy pages (don't you just know I'm trying to get her addicted at a very early age) and when I read the articles, she kicked her feet and squealed with delight.

She then insisted that she wanted to read it herself. Parts were to be studied seriously....

... others were amusing...

... mixtape is not just great reading, but also delicious apparently...

... and boy did I get in trouble when I tried to take it off her...

... I think I'm going to have to get her her own subscription.
