Heading Down to Old Melbourne Town

I do love any excuse to escape to Melbourne, and in the next few weeks, I'll have two!

This weekend I'll have a stall at Markit@FedSquare, I'll be in the (theatre) foyer if you'd like to come by and say hi.

Then two weeks later, from the 7th to the 9th of December, I'll be at The Big Design Market.

I've booked myself in a little free Melbourne time while I'm there and can't wait to explore more of the gorgeous city.  Do you have any recommendations of what I should see or do that will only take a few hours?

  1. I'd advise:
    - a trip to the Nicholas Building on the corner of Swanson Street and Flinders Lane to check out Kimono House, Buttonmania and L'ucello
    - a coffee in one of the laneways near Degrave Street
-a walk up Flinders Lane towards Spring Street to drop in at Tessuti and Craft Victoria
-and keeping with the textile theme, a drink at Seamstress Cocktail Bar in Lonsdale Street.

Thank you for taking time to comment, I treasure each and everyone one of them. I always reply to them in my head, but must confess, these days it takes me much longer to actually email that reply.
