Crochet Inspiration

As suggested and encouraged by the fabulous Bec, this Sunday at Brown Owls I'm going to attempt to crochet a baby's hat. It will be simple with hopefully a little flower to jazz it up. At Spotlight today I found this gorgeous, super soft bamboo-cotton mix yarn that I can't stop touching.

While these are beyond my beginner level, these cute hats are great inspiration, something to work towards.

1. Red and aqua baby crocheted beanie, 2. cottonorange elf hat , 3. Baby hat - button detail, 4. Crocheted Pink and white baby girl hat, 5. Crochet baby elfin hat, 6. Crocheted Pink and brown baby girl hat

... then, if I really got the hang of the hook and yarn, how cute would these booties look?

  1. Ceck out the winterwarm link on my blog- it will take you to simple free patterns similar to the one on the bottom right hand side. When I get a minute I'll find the link to some simple flower patterns that I think I have on my other computer. What a lucky baby to have a stylish, crafty mummy!

  2. Oh the hats are very cool. And the booties? Gorgeous. I can crochet, but I haven't done any for ages, must find a hook again and give it another go... you have inspired me now too!

  4. Oh very cute indeed, to answer your question. Crochet is one of the things I really want to learn. Knitting is the other :)

  9. Adorable! I look forward to seeing pics of your finished creations. Don't sell yourself short though, the projects may look tough but the best way to learn is to jump in with a project you want to make - you can always rip it out and try it again!

Thank you for taking time to comment, I treasure each and everyone one of them. I always reply to them in my head, but must confess, these days it takes me much longer to actually email that reply.
