Now The Cat's Not Away Anymore...

... the mouse can't take up all the bed.

Yah! Hubby is home! It's so lovely to have him back AND he brought treats from Australia, so he's even more popular!

I've been meaning to show off some of my hubby's buys here in Japan. He's loving the Japanese aesthetic as much as me. One day, I'll get around to having him model his large collection of very funky Japanese shirts, but for now, here are a couple of images I have on file.

One of the many bags he's bought here. His bag collection is now almost rivalling my own! I've actually found myself saying to him, "Do you think you need any more bags?" Not to worry though, I still have way more shoes! Anyway, this fab bag is a lovely faded black denim with Japanese fabric features. Funky hey!

Mmm.. how I wish I could fit into a pair of men's jeans. This pair has a dragon embroidered on the front and then embroidered pockets down the back.

It's funny, there seems to be way more cool clothes in the shops here for men than for women. Don't get me wrong, the women are well dressed and always impeccably groomed, but the styles for women are quite bland. It's boys that get all the fun funky stuff.

  4. Cool bag - and cool hubby for carrying such a bag. Glad to hear he's back - and good to see the book's coming along. The cover's looking nice. Are the letters cut out fabric? I love the frayed edges.

I totally agree about Japanese men's clothes and accessories. So in some ways it was good that no womens clothing ever fitted me, and I had to look for the funky mens gear... I say, get yerself some awesome jeans!

Thank you for taking time to comment, I treasure each and everyone one of them. I always reply to them in my head, but must confess, these days it takes me much longer to actually email that reply.
